Dufa strives to be the one stop e-commerce marketplace solution for all local Indian artists looking to sell their creative work of art. We welcome all artists, dabblers, hobbyists, entrepreneurs to showcase and sell their work. Our mission is to make selling for artists extremely easy, so that artists can focus on creating what they love. Also, we want our buyers who are interested in unique, artistic products, to be able to easily find what they are looking for. We strive to reach artists from every corner of India and provide them the platform to celebrate their unique talent and individuality through their work and to reach out to millions of people. Currently, we have categories ranging from fine art, jewelry, accessories, home goods, clothing and shoes, personal care and artisanal food which are all handmade, handcrafted or hand-altered.

We are headquartered in Bangalore, India. Dufa is available in India and later plans to allow shipping worldwide.

Dufa appreciates and recognizes all forms of art with a vision to empower artists from all backgrounds to sell their work of art. Firstly, Dufa is a creative marketplace catering only to handmade, handcrafted goods thus reselling isn’t allowed. Secondly, we understand that most people today have smart phones and are looking for simple ways to sell or buy online. Dufa makes the experience of selling and shopping online extremely easy. Our user-friendly app can be used by anyone. We have simplified the registration process and anyone with a phone can quickly open their shop and add products. Thirdly, at Dufa, we appreciate art, and strive to make it both affordable for sellers to sell on our platform by charging them a very nominal fee and thus making it affordable for our buyers too, so sellers do not need to bump up the selling price to pay high commission fees.

You can only sell handmade products on Dufa and reselling is not allowed. Handmade on Dufa encompasses all products made by the seller's own hands or by using handheld tools. The products that are hand-assembled, handcrafted and hand-altered are also acceptable on Dufa and considered handmade in the broader sense so long as the seller has added his or her own creativity and twist to the product. Handmade includes products that are designed by sellers even though they may be physically created by the seller's team or some materials maybe outsourced. Sellers can be entrepreneurs as well who have a team of artists creating/designing these handmade products. Reselling is strictly prohibited on Dufa.

Even if the products otherwise meet our marketplace criteria, prohibited items, services, and items that violate our policies are not allowed to be sold on Dufa. Refer to our Terms and conditions to see details. Prohibited Items: • Animal products and human remains; • Alcohol ; • Dangerous items, hazardous materials, recalled items and weapons; • Items that promote, support, or glorify hatred; • Illegal items, items promoting illegal activity and highly regulated items as per Indian Laws; • Items that promote, support, or glorify violence. • Illegal items, items promoting illegal activity and highly regulated items as per Indian Laws; • Items that promote, support, or glorify violence.

To register and setup the shop, Sellers need to use the ‘Sell on Dufa’ App. Once you publish your store and products from the App, you can view it on https://dufa.in

Currently, there is only the App version of Dufa available for Sellers. Buyers can browse through the shops and purchase products from our website https://dufa.in
