Setting your shop policies

This guide provides an overview of the shop policies you need to include on your store page. You own your store and your policies are honored here at Dufa where applicable. It’s your choice on how you want to handle returns and what your cancellation & return policy is.
You can set your Store Policies while Registering by entering your return policy & Shop terms. If you haven’t done it during registration, you can navigate to Store Settings and set the policies.

Shipping Policy
It’s always better to call out your Shipping policy on your page. Dufa requires sellers to avail the Delhivery Logistics for shipping services. But apart from the Shipping partner you can decide whether you want to offer free shipping or charged shipping to your customers.
You can decide whether you want to charge shipping or offer free shipping to customers per product. But as a good practice, it’s good to tell your customers what your general policy is.
Example 1:
We offer free shipping on all our products.
Example 2:
Customers need to bear the shipping fees for all our products. You can see the estimated shipping fees on our product page.
Example 3:
Free shipping for all products greater than Rs. 5000.
Return & Exchange Policy
You can either choose to Not accept returns or provide a stipulated time for returns.
In the Store Settings, choose the appropriate option in the Returns Policy dropdown.

Under the Terms and conditions field, mention the Return policy.
Example 1:
No returns accepted due to the nature of our products unless they arrive damaged or defective. In that case, email Dufa to help you with the return.
Example 2:
We accept returns so long as the item is returned within 14 days of receiving the order. You will have to bear the return shipping fee. A full refund of the cost of the product will be issued to you deducting the return shipping fee after we have received the package.
Example 3:
We accept returns so long as the item is returned within 7 days of receiving the order. Since we offer free return shipping fee, which means we’ll give you a full refund without deducting any return shipping fee once we receive the order. However, if the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
Cancellation of orders
On Dufa, we let customers cancel the orders so long as they are cancelled before you accepted the order on your dashboard. If you’d like to add to that by giving them a timeframe, you can mention it in the policies.
Example:
We accept cancellations so long as they are done within 24 hours of placing the order. If you want to cancel after 24 hours, contact Dufa with the reason and depending on where we are in processing your order, we may consider your request.
Customization and Personalization Policy
If you accept customizations and personalization, you can mention that as well and any policies you have around that.
Example:
We accept personalization and customization requests, but these orders cannot be returned or exchanged.
