Guide to subscription & enrollment

by Dufa Staff | 05 September 2020

This is a detailed guide to help you choose the right subscription plan & enroll for it. Due to Covid19 situation & the impact on local sellers, Dufa is not charging any subscription fee until December 31, 2020 as of now.

Subscription Plans:

Dabbler_Subscription Dabbler Subscription Plan

Best for: The Dabbler subscription plan is best for smaller businesses who are just getting started, for hobbyists, part time sellers and for businesses who do not have more than 50 SKUs.

Subscription Fees: The Fee for a Dabbler subscription is Rs. 500 only including GST per month. You can list any quantity for each of the SKU at no separate cost.

Commission Fees: For Dabbler subscriptions, we charge a commission fee of 15% of the listed price only when a sale is made.

Plan Details: This plan offers a lot of flexibility to smaller businesses and hobbyists as they need to give only a month by month commitment. If you are unavailable for any month or want to take a break, all you need to do is just unpublish your shop and you can come back around and publish the store when ready.

Since you have a limit of listing 50 SKUs, if you were to add more products to the store, you will be asked to upgrade to the Profession Plan. You can choose to upgrade or limit your product listing to 50 a month.

Note 1: The subscription fee is charged at the beginning of every month. If you have enrolled in Dufa before 20th of a month, your billing will still start the next month else you’ll be billed for the current month as well.

Note 2: While billing, Dufa checks to see if you are in the limit of your SKU. While adding new products, Dufa restricts you cross the SKU limit which also counts any product you may have sold and then deleted that month.

Professional_Subscription Professional Subscription Plan

Best for: The Professional subscription plan is best suited for sellers who have been in the business for a long time, or who are planning to grow their business rapidly or who have a sizeable list of products > 50 SKUs. There is no limit on the number of SKUs you can list using this plan.

Subscription Fees: The Fee for a Professional subscription is Rs. 1500 only including GST per month. You can list unlimited SKUS with this plan and any quantity for each of the SKUs at no separate cost. For the Professional subscription, you can also sign up to pay the fee annually which gives you 2 months of free subscription @ Rs. 15000 including GST per year.

Commission Fees: For Professional subscriptions, we charge a commission fee of 20% of the listed price only when a sale is made.

Plan Details: This plan works great for streamlined businesses. The provision of listing any number of SKUs can work out very economical for your business. When you signup with this plan, you get a personal onboarding and account manager assigned to you who ensures your products and your page is up to date all the time and consults you

If you are not using more than 50 SKUs, our Dufa onboarding specialist will advise you if its better to move to the Dabbler plan.

Note 1: For monthly subscriptions, the fee is charged at the beginning of every month. If you have enrolled in Dufa before 20th of a month, your billing will still start the next month else you’ll be billed for the current month as well. For annual subscription, the same rule applies but the plan is valid for a year from the current month or next month based on when you enrolled.

Note 2: While billing, Dufa checks to see if you are not using the SKUs to its full potential (not more than 50-60 SKUs) and will prompt you to check if you’d like to move to the other plan.

Covid19 Subscription Fee Waiver:

During this unprecedented time, we understand a lot of our local sellers are going through a difficult time, hence we have waivered the subscription fees until December 31, 2020 and may re-assess and extend this period based on the situation. At the moment, we do not take any credit/debit card information from you. We only take your payment account details to pay you in case of any sales.
